Day 1 Arrive in Amsterdam: welcome dinner
Day 2 Amsterdam – Berlin: Guided tour of Berlin, with stops at Brandenburg Gate, the Berlin Wall and Checkpoint Charlie; dinner at traditional German Beer Hall
Day 3 Berlin: Free day (you can visit Museum Island, Berlin TV Tower, East Side Gallery’s paintings along the Berlin Wall; have currywurst for lunch)
Day 4 Berlin – Dresden – Prague: Orientation tour of Dresden; free time; traditional Czech dinner
Day 5 Prague: Guided tour of the ‘City of a Hundred Spires’, Vltava River, Prague Castle, Charles Bridge; free afternoon
Day 6 Prague – Vienna: Guided tour of Vienna, St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Vienna State Opera; dinner at a triple level cellar dating back to the Romanesque and Gothic periods
Day 7 Vienna: Free day (you can do an in-depth visit to the Schönbrunn Palace and its gardens)
Day 8 Vienna: Free day (you can grab a coffee and a slice of Sachertorte or Apple Strudel or catch a live classical music performance in one of the main squares; you can also visit the Vienna Naschmarkt); optional day trip to Ljubljana, the beautiful capital of Slovenia
Day 9 Vienna – Budapest: Hungarian lunch upon arrival, walking tour of Budapest; free time; optional dinner cruise on the Danube
Day 10 Budapest: Free day (you can visit the Parliament Building, some of the stunning basilicas, one of the city’s thermal baths, or have a leisurely stroll along the Danube promenade)
