From Flamenco to Port Wine: A Journey through Spain and Portugal
This European holiday takes you on a 14-day journey through Spain and Portugal, visiting various cities and experiencing their unique cultures and attractions. The trip starts in Madrid, where you will explore the city’s historic landmarks and enjoy a tapas dinner. From there, you will travel to Portugal, to one of the oldest European towns (it’s a UNESCO World Heritage Site!) Porto. Known for its beautiful river and famous port wine cellars, in Porto you’ll have a wine tasting experience after your Douro River cruise. In Lisbon you will discover the city’s ancient and modern highlights, including the Belem Tower and Alfama Quarter.

Back in Spain, the journey continues to Cáceres, another World Heritage Site with a blend of architectural styles. In Seville, you will explore the Cathedral and the charming Santa Cruz Quarter. The trip then takes you to Ronda, known for its stunning views, and the Costa del Sol, where you can enjoy the beautiful Mediterranean coast. In Granada, you will visit the famous Alhambra complex and experience a Gypsy Flamenco show. The trip concludes with a visit to Toledo, known for its multicultural history, before returning to Madrid.
