In this 8-day scenic train journey, you’ll get to tour what makes Switzerland a classic choice for travellers to Europe. You get to stay in charming lakeside towns of Interlaken, Montreux, and Zermatt while also venturing to the snow-capped peaks via rail.

Enjoy a trip up to Jungfraujoch Top of Europe, the highest railway station in the world at 3,453 metres, and visit all the attractions there, including the Ice Palace, Snow Fun Park, and Lindt Swiss Chocolate Heaven (for some serious chocolate shopping). The cogwheel railway to Gornergrat will provide a superb view of Mount Matterhorn, Mont Blanc and other peaks rising above 4,000 metres. The Glacier Express trip the next day will give you an unbeatable rail experience. You get to sit back and travel in comfort as a stunning landscape of mountain forests, Alpine meadows, and valleys reveals itself in the tranquil 8-hour journey. You also get to go on the Bernina Express along a UNESCO World Heritage route. It will take you through 55 tunnels and over 196 bridges and pass the country’s oldest town and jaw-dropping gorges. Before the trip ends, you’ll also get to experience the Gotthard Base Tunnel, the longest train tunnel in the world. You’ll emerge from under the Alpine masiff, a fitting close to your Swill rail adventure.
