Day1: Brisbane
Arrive in Brisbane and make your own way to your hotel. Overnight at Voco Brisbane City Centre.
Day 2: Spirit of Queensland – Brisbane to Cairns
After breakfast, spend the morning exploring the city of Brisbane. Hop on a CityCat and cruise along the Brisbane River and take in some of Brisbane’s iconic landmarks such as the Story Bridge and the Kangaroo Point Cliffs. Wander through the beautiful gardens at South Bank Parklands and stop for lunch at one of the many outdoor cafes. Join the Spirit of Queensland this afternoon and travel north overnight to Cairns.

Day 3: Cairns
This morning the train passes through the sugar cane fields of North Queensland. Sit back and relax as you watch the changing landscapes. Arrive in Cairns this afternoon and make your own way to your accommodation. Stay the next five nights at Holiday Inn Cairns. (BL)
Today, make your own way to the Reef Fleet Terminal for your reef cruise. Take a fast catamaran cruise to a floating activity platform situated right on the Outer Great Barrier Reef. Snorkel, visit the underwater observatory, cruise in a semi-sub or just relax on the sundeck with a delicious buffet lunch. (BL)
Day 5: Kuranda
This morning, experience the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway journey to Kuranda. Take in the spectacular views as you wind your way up to the quaint village of Kuranda on this famous journey. Spend time at the Rainforestation Nature Park and embark on an educational tour on a historic World War II Army Duck. Return to Cairns on the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway, gliding silently over the rainforest as you enjoy beautiful views along the way. (BL)
Day 6: Cairns
Spend the day exploring Cairns at leisure. Discover rich history and Aboriginal culture at one of the art galleries, take a dip in the sparkling Esplanade Lagoon or just relax by the hotel pool. (B)
Day 7: Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation
Today, journey north to the magnificent and untouched World Heritage listed Daintree Rainforest, the oldest living rainforest in the world. Visit the only place in the world where two World Heritage listed areas – The Daintree Rainforest and The Great Barrier Reef exist side by side forming one of the most diverse ecosystems on earth. Spot crocodiles on a Daintree River cruise, take a guided boardwalk tour through the rainforest and enjoy a 4WD ride along the Bloomfield Track. (BL)
Day 8: Cairns
Your holiday concludes this morning upon check-out from the hotel. (B)
