From sites of historic battlefields to renowned settings of Greek mythology, this week-long adventure in Turkey will completely immerse you in the country’s rich history and culture. You’ll begin your guided exploration in Istanbul with a city tour that will take you to see the Blue Mosque and other attractions. You’ll also get to venture out of the city with ease in guided transportation, as you visit Turkey’s Gallipoli peninsula to see where the historic battle was fought. From history to mythology, Troy, is now a famous archaeological site. Further south, more preserved ancient cities await (Ephesus and Pergamon), while you get to also visit a carpet weaving centre, a vineyard known for Turkish fruit wine, and the amazing calcium terraces of Pamukkale.
