Day 1 Arrive Istanbul | Arrive at hotel and explore the city on your own before meeting your travel director and fellow travellers
Day 2 Istanbul | Guided sightseeing tour, including a visit to Hagia Sophia, once the leading church in Christendom, the Hippodrome, and the Blue Mosque; optional Experience to Topkapi Palace Museum, and a cruise on the Bosphorus Strait.
Day 3 Istanbul – Ankara | Wander through the Grand Bazaar; visit the Museum of Anatolian Civilisations; free evening to explore
Day 4 Ankara – Cappadocia | Visit the underground city of Saratli; for an optional experience, your evening can be spent with the Whirling Dervishes
Day 5 Cappadocia | More time for sightseeing in Cappadocia with its fairy-tale chimneys; visit a regional rug production centre; free time in the afternoon; optional experience in Göreme one of the many rock churches that remain to this day
Day 6 Cappadocia – Konya – Pamukkale | visit the famous mausoleum of Sufi philosopher Mevlana; see the snow-white travertine terraces in Pamukkale
Day 7 Pamukkale – Hierapolis – Izmir | Behold the view of the terraces in the morning, see the ruins of an ancient Roman health spa; head off to the port town of Izmir; join the optional seafood dinner at a favourite local restaurant
Day 8 Izmir | Free day to explore the coastal haven that is Izmir; optional experience of visiting Ephesus, a 2,000-year-old site and home to the iconic Library of Celsus and Hadrian’s Temple
Day 9 Izmir – Pergamon – Troy – Çanakkale | visits to an ancient kingdom (Peragamon) and city (Troy); head off to Çanakkale, where dinner is served at your hotel
Dqy 10 Çanakkale – Gallipoli – Istanbul | visit to where significant WWI battles were fought before returning to Istanbul
