Day 1 Arrive Tokyo
Day 2 Tokyo | Visit the Meiji Shrine, Imperial East Garden, and Asakusa; free afternoon
Day 3 Tokyo | Free day to explore on your own; optional tour to Tokyo Disneyland or Disney Sea
Day 4 Tokyo – Mt. Fuji – Hakone | Visit the 5th Station of Fuji-san, Owakudani Boiling Valley, and Hakone Ropeway; relax on a Lake Ashi cruise
Day 5 Hakone – Kyoto – Nara – Kyoto | Take a bullet train from Hakone to Kyoto; explore Nara’s Todaji Temple and see the many deer roaming Nara Park
Day 6 Kyoto | Full day tour of historical Kyoto with its many glorious temples and sights; head to Arashiyama and the Sagano Bamboo Forest
Day 7 Kyoto | Free day to explore the former Japanese capital, you can stroll around Gion’s lovely streets (in case you see a geisha) and try delicious local food in Nishiki Market
Day 8 Kyoto – Osaka – Taipei | free morning in Kyoto before heading to Osaka Airport to fly to Taipei (airport transfer to your hotel in Taipei will be available)
Day 9 Taipei – Nantou – Sun Moon Lake | Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area
Day 10 Sun Moon Lake – Tainan – Kaohsiung | Visit Fort Zeelandia and walk along Anping Old Street known for its culinary delicacies; find sacred Fo Guang Shan Monastery in Kaohsiung
Day 11 Kaohsiung – Kenting – Taitung | Kenting National Park; relax in the natural hot springs at your hotel.
Day 12 Taitung – East Coast Scenic Area – Hualien | admire the natural stone sculptures on the east coast; check in to your hotel in Hualien
Day 13 Hualien – Taroko Gorge – Taipei | See the majestic gorge carved deep into the marble; head to Taipei, making stops at the Swallow Grotto, Buluowan Suspension Bridge, Qingshui Cliff, and more
Day 14 Taipei | Visit the National Palace Museum, Martyrs Shrine, and Handicraft Centre; shopping at the night markets
Day 15 Depart Taipei
